A faith-rooted nonprofit delivering practical, measurable community transformation in Lake Como and across North Texas β one person, one family, one block at a time.
Lake Commissioned Economic & Community Development Corp (LC ECDC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2025 and rooted in the Lake Como neighborhood of Fort Worth, Texas. We exist to help individuals and families move from instability to opportunity through practical, faith-driven programs that produce lasting, measurable outcomes.
Our work is inspired by the Great Commission (Matthew 28) and the promise of Ephesians 3:20 β that God is able to do immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine. We carry that spirit into every program we design, every partnership we build, and every life we serve.
Our values are rooted in a commitment to the dignity, purpose, and potential of every person.
Programs are designed with β not for β the communities we serve.
Every initiative tracks clear metrics: placements, stability, participation, and long-term outcomes.
We convene faith institutions, government, schools, and employers around shared goals.
We serve low-to-moderate income individuals and families across the Greater Fort Worth region facing significant barriers to economic stability, safety, and well-being.

Minority communities in North Texas face higher rates of unemployment, chronic disease, and lower educational attainment. Neighborhoods with predominantly minority populations often experience limited access to quality services β precisely where Lake Commissioned focuses.
Thousands of at-risk youth in Tarrant County are academically behind or disconnected from school and work. Foster youth aging out of care frequently lack stable housing and supportive networks. Without deliberate intervention, these patterns repeat across generations.
Lake Commissioned Economic & Community Development Corp exists to interrupt these cycles β deploying faith-driven, practical solutions that equip individuals with skills, connect families to stability, and build neighborhoods where everyone can thrive.
